Activity #1

Create an Image on a Polygon.

• Recreate this image in the applet below by entering ordered pairs. It might be easier to start by writing down the coordinates on a sheet of paper.

Activity #2

Create Your Own Image.

• Create an image of your own design by listing the ordered pairs in the applet. You could draw a different animal, a vehicle, a building, or something else.
• Make sure your image includes at least 4 points in each quadrant of the coordinate plane.

Challenge #1

Graph the solution set for the linear equation y = 3x + 1. Use the slider to guide you through the steps. Make sure you attempt to plot the points on the graph. If the slider is reluctant to move down, highlight it and use the down arrow key on your key board .
