Activity #1

Work out what the Tip would be.

In the applet below, the red slider is the full amount, and it is represented by the red box. This is 100 %. Observe on the red slider that the total amount is 5, and 10% has been selected as the tax or tip. This percentage of the total amount is displayed in the box. Follow the instructions below to interact with the applet and see how the values change.
